Bee Creek Road construction remains on schedule

Two months into construction of the Bee Creek Road expansion, the project remains right on schedule.

The stretch of Bee Creek Road between Highway 71 and Highlands Boulevard will be expanded and improved once construction is completed in 2015. Improvements include expanding the 2-lane road to a 4-lane road, adding bike lanes and sidewalks, upgrading drainage and improving access to the road for property owners. In addition, Bee Creek Road will include two left turn lanes and a dedicated right turn lane onto Highway 71 and a deceleration right turn lane from Highway 71 to Bee Creek Road.
