There are a lot of perks to living in Serene Hills, and many more are on the horizon.
Residents of Serene Hills already enjoy some incredible amenities:
Soon there will be even more incentives to call Serene Hills home.
Serene Hills Commons, the commercial area on the northeast corner of Highway 71 and Serene Hills Dr., will soon be adding three more stand-alone businesses and filling the rest of the available units in the two-story building.
The two-story structure on the right after you turn off of Highway 71 has been standing for some time now, but you may not know who is occupying that commercial space.
Muve Health is the longest tenured business in Serene Hills Commons. The surgical center partners with the country’s leading surgeons dedicated to the field of joint reconstruction to develop, own, and operate a network of specialty healthcare facilities that focus on providing total joint replacement procedures in a unique healthcare environment. Partnering with Orthopedic Speacialists of Austin, Muve has both a surgery facility as well as a dedicated rehab area upstairs that can dramatically speed up recovery time post-surgery.
Joining Muve is Serene Hills Dentistry, owned and operated by Drs. Sara & Ali Golshani. The two community residents are proud to offer the Serene Hills community a privately-owned dentist office that treats its patients like family.
The third and final current tenant of the two-story building is Farmer’s Insurance, staffed by agent Kelly Nugent, a 17-year financial professional who calls the Austin area home.
Chase Bank is the only stand-alone business currently open in Serene Hills Commons. The bank opened its doors in late 2018.
There are still a lot of contracts to be signed before things are official with the remaining spots in Serene Hills Commons, but things are in the works to finish out in 2020.
There are two more units in the two-story building that will be filled. The building’s ownership group are eyeing a nail salon and a financial advisor, but those are very tentative at this stage.
The ownership group does have a good idea of what will join Chase Bank as stand-alone structures in the area between Serene Hills Dr. and The Mansions luxury apartment complex. Two currently unnamed restaurants and a preschool are the likely final pieces to full Serene Hills Commons development.
Just across Serene Hills Dr. from this commercial development is currently a wide open plot of land. While plans are very foggy, that land is owned by HEB. So it wouldn’t be surprising to see our neighborhood get a grocery store conveniently located before residents have to get on the highway.
